The (Geuzen- en) Statenkwartier is one of the most popular districts at The Hague, due to the proximity of the International Zone, the beach and not to mention the cozy Frederik Hendriklaan, also known as "The Fred". The district was built between 1890 - 1915 and the streets are mostly named after politictians from the 17th century.
